Enjoy the best summer you have ever had! WEATHER: If you have never been to Washington State, you are in for a big treat. Forget about that nonsense that it rains every day. During the summer months you will have more sunshine then you can handle. Last summer of 2009, months of March through August, we probably had 5 days in total. If you want to call it rain. Nobody pays any attention to it since it comes and goes very fast and mostly during the night. When someone looks up the weather for Washington State, Seattle is what you get. Yes, it does rain more in the Seattle area then up here. Up here is Blaine Washington, about 100 miles north of Seattle and specifically referred to as Birch Bay. This little town is only 6 miles from the Canadian Border on the inlet side of Puget Sound. Look at a map and follow US 5 North to the border. The very last town in the United States is Blaine, Washington. The area is in a weather belt and probably the coolest in the lower United States with a prevailing temperature during the summer in the seventies. Check out the 49th parallel. Price: 500
