1989 Toyota Dolphin TINY HOME RV V6 49k ORIGINAL miles
Located in Fort Collins, CO.
Winter and summer ready. Grizzly wood stove. AC, heat unity and 3-way propane.
The 3.0 V6 dually. Automatic transmission. Runs beautifully and fun to drive. NEW timing belt, struts, and air ride suspension. Most of the install and mechanical work done in 2022, with about 7,000 miles driven since then. It's been parked and moved in most of its life, and moved and started frequently. New spark plugs and spark plug harnesses replaced. Two new batteries. Full muffler rebuild. Roof completely sealed. New ceiling vents and Maxx Air fan. All windows removed, resealed with new putty and correct caulk. No silicone anywhere. Taillights and overhead running lights converted to LED. Had previous water damage in the front left overhead cab when purchased and was rebuilt. Leak-proof and road-worthy. 14- 16 mpg depending on load (and moving across country with books and a greenhouse in it). The Cummins generator has 9 hours, new hoses, and is reliable for power in the middle of nowhere. Cooking a full meal in the middle of the forest is a great feeling!
Moveable toilet in the shower unit. Shower updated and backroom turned into a changing room. Kitchen updated with a large stainless steel farm-kitchen sink, and faucet installed. Lots of extra storage built into the unit.
Needs attention:
The furnace switch is not igniting.
Could use a new windshield washer fluid reservoir but have gotten by without it.
Title in hand. Owner for 9 years. Passed emissions in 2024 with a few adventures in the 2024 season. Recent and consistent oil changes. A lot of personal touches. Starts up every single time, and I have confidence in this Toyota. It's ready to hit the road, move-in ready, and primed for the next adventure!!
